Looking for ways you can help? The following are things that we currently need. All donations are tax deductible. Reciepts will be mailed out immediately. Checks can be made out to Driven Ministries, Inc. and all donations can be sent to:

Services/Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Marketing/Advertising
  • Printing
  • Rentals for events (chairs, stage, etc.)
  • Grant Writing
  • Fundraising
  • Catering for fundraisers
  • Administrative help for newsletters, data entry, etc
  • Event Volunteers


  • A building or home, ideally in West Reading area, that can be used to house youth as a state licensed program


  • $4,800:  Pays two part-time class facilitators for the year
  • $2,400:  Sponsors a youth or parent small group for the year
  • $2,000:  Sponsors 20 nights at a shelter for a youth
  • $2,000:  Sponsors the breakfast or attraction passes for parents and teens at the parent/teen Conference
  • $1,000:   Pays speakers for parent/teen conference
  • $500:  Purchases a cordless mic or MP3 recorder
  • Any amount, one-time or on-going, can help cover the costs of our programs, and items and services needed

Spread the Word:

  • Tell a friend or co-worker about Driven and the programs we offer
  • Share with others the needs of runaway, homeless, and “throwaway” teens in our community
    Refer a parent or teen in need
  • Utilize Driven for speaking engagements at your next company function
  • Assist Driven in obtaining continued public and private support

• United Way: Awarded Driven a $25,000 Venture Grant to start-up The Legacy House Program

• Reading Berks Conference of Churches:  Contracted Driven to provided  Chaplaincy services to youth at Berks County Youth Center

• Wilson Communities That Cares: Contracted Driven to run a 4-week parenting class

• BCIU, Homeless Student Division:  Has provided a mini-grant to help with outreach services for at-risk youth and mediation services for youth and their families who are affected by the runaway/homeless issue.

• Glad Tidings Assembly of God: Provides monthly support.

• Goldcamp Tax Facts: Susan Goldcamp has financially supported Driven for various programs

• Ozzy's Sports Fun Center:  Ozzy's has donated space and services in support of Driven's parenting groups

• F.M. Brown and Sons financially supports Driven for programs and events
